The museum was closed today, Tuesday March 19, 2019. We were there a little past 11 am. There were no signs that said it would be closed. Does anyone know why, and if it will reopen this week?

Never mind. I found the answer on the website. It’s not straightforward to find. They were having technical problems and opened at 12.

I would think so.not a lot closed in Budapest over xmas.maybe closed xmas.day but would imagine you'll be ok Xmas Eve/boxing Day.well worth a visit for the architecture …
