Hi Michael, The cost all depends what type of fishing you want to do... "Inshore" fishing is on a 24' Shearwater center console with a site tower which stays in the Bays, Bayou's, coves, pass where the waters are calm and shallow. You are expected to catch Spotted trout (speckled, white, and sand trout), sheepshead, flounder, black drum, tripletail etc. 4 hours cost $350 for the first angler and $50 each additional with a minimum of two and maximum of 6 anglers. Each additional hour is only $99. "Nearshore" fishing is done on the same boat for which stays in the Gulf of Mexico 1-9 miles from the shoreline. You are expected to catch Red drum, Cobia (ling or lemonfish), King & Spanish Mackerel, Blacktip Sharks, Permit, Pompino, etc 4 hours cost $450 for the first angler and $50 each additional with a minimum of two and maximum of 6 anglers. Each additional hour is also only $99. "Offshore" fishing is done on a 45' Hatteras which stays 10-49 miles from shore (Beaches). The boat named The Salty Dog has air conditioned cabin, restrooms, full galley, Large screen TV with playstation and all the amenities you would expect to accommodate any family members needs. The expected catch is Amberjacks, Snappers, Triggerfish, Groupers, and much more bottom feeding fish. The price is only $200/hour with a 6 hour minimum. You may bring up to 6 passengers on this private charter. "Deep Sea" fishing is also aboard the Salty Dog which stays 50-100 miles from the beaches where the water is a deep royal blue. This is where you will find the BIG GAME FISH like Marlins, Tunas, Mahi-Mahi, Wahoo, etc. These trips are for the serious sportfisherman! Again you may bring up to 6 passengers total. The cost is as follows: 18 hours = $3600 24 hours = $4600 36 hours = $6000 All of the fishing charters include: the boat rental, the experienced fishing guide captain, first mate and occasional deckhand, your fishing rods, tackle, bait, all the fuel (no surprise fuel surcharge), & ice for the catch. Upon returning to the docks, the crew will clean & fillet your catch and package it up in ziplock bags for you. The crew works for gratuity to keep the cost low so 15%-20% of the charter cost is customary. The only thing we do not provide is your own preferred food and drinks, sunscreen & sea sickness medication if you are known to experience motion sickness. Hope this helps answer your question. Thanks for asking and let's go fishing!
