Anand is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Akron Children's. He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology and in business administration from Boston University in Boston, Mass. and a bachelor's degree in health science from Cleveland State University. He went on to earn a master of science in nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, Tenn. and completed fellowship training as part of Vanderbilt's Program in Interprofessional Learning. Anand has also served as a research and teaching assistant at several universities, including Harvard and Boston University. He is fluent in English, Gujarati (of India) and Hindi.
