Would be a lovely spot for an evening walk, but if you are driving there, the car park entry closes at 5pm and the car park gate closes at 8pm.

Sorry, can`t remember the parking charges, not sure about launching your own canoe.

They are yes, but just be aware of the blue-green algae that occurs around the lake.
