A great experience to see stars, planets and moons in our night sky. Informative and friendly guides. A highly recommended place to visit in Charleville.Y5743TZiand的完整评论

We stayed in 'The Rocks' motel opposite the railway station and Bilby experience. The Cosmos Centre is next to the airport. It's about a 20-30 minute easy walk (2km) along the Mitchel Highway or, if your aren't able to walk, taxi is the other option. There is footpath all the way which we used. Not sure what it would be like at night as we used a taxi. An added bonus during the daylight is the pleasant and informative Bicentennial Park on the right-hand side of the highway on your way to the Centre. It is certainly worth a look and about 15 minutes along the walk out there. Enjoy Charleville.
Hi, Could you let me know when the centre is open for guided tours and how much it costs. Thanks Duncan

There is 2 tours both worth doing. The one in the day is a discovery tour then a guide will do a talk. The star gazing is at night, it isn’t cheap but well worth it. You can contact them or check them on line. I really can’t remember the cost. There was 2 seniors, an adult and 1 child. Money well spent our 6 year old grandson enjoyed it and the guides are very good with children. It is outside so I suggest you wear something warm depending on the season
