CRI seeks to address health disparities by race, socioeconomic status and geography in our regional area. CRI is known for its trainings and materials on how ACEs and other negative experiences can create negative health outcomes if left unchecked, by changing brain architecture. We address the Protective Factors through a focus on Resilience to help explain how we can build new neural pathways and develop new patterns that improve our ability to navigate life'schallenges. We believe it is critical that everyone understand the implication of the ACE Study (risk) and focus on Resilience (protection).
