Short but fun experience. Not the biggest cave experience but definitely worth it. Our tour guide, Ron, was very entertaining. And the caves weren’t as tough to manage as others led me to think. I’m …jenny51834的完整评论

There are two separate caves here...Crystal and Fantasy. If you are going to take the time and effort to drive or take the bus or taxi here, you might as well do both. One cave will set you back $24 …County-Hunter的完整评论

What’s the difference between the crystal caves and the fantasy caves?

Is the tour from a cruise excursion the same as coming directly to the caves for a tour? If not, what’s different. Trying to decide if my 5-yr old grandson would enjoy the tour during our cruise stop. Thank you in advance for your feedback.

Going on your own will often be significantly cheaper. It really depends on the cruise line's excursion. Transportation will be included, as will advance tickets. Some excursions also couple a trip to the aquarium with the caves as well. If you went on your own, there are some downsides. You might want to get there first thing, because otherwise quite the line can develop, and you might not get onto a tour until hours later. You will also have to figure out and pay for transportation, which can still be expensive (example: a cab ride from King's Wharf to the caves for 1-4 people would be around $65), and complicated depending on where you are docked and what day of the week it is. Ultimately, you have to decide if it is worth the hassle for the savings. But the cave tour itself will be the same, whether you go on your own or with the cruise ship excursion. (Note that there are two caves, Crystal and Fantasy. You would need to inquire with the cruise line as to which cave you would tour, if not both.)
