HARP has been independently registered as a charity since 2002 combining the services of the former Southend Centre for the Homeless and Southend Night Shelter for the Homeless, both of these having been established in 1987. Acorn Housing Association was also acquired in 2009. Current services: • Day Centre (providing a comprehensive assessment and advice service to over 2000 individuals and families each year to seek a housing solution and take control of their lives, breakfast and 2-co
