A working railroad since the 1890's, this park is now run by the California State Railroad Museum. It offers visitors self-guided tours.

I have been to Railtown several times and have seen people in wheelchairs. It is possible to get around but beware uneven ground. Please contact Railtown for assistance. They are always very helpful and accommodating. Not sure if you will be able to board the train as it has steep narrow steps.
