Central Park Elementary is a state-of-the-art Primary Years Programme/STEM learning facility for grades K-5. As part of the Midland Public Schools District, Central Park provides high-quality, globally-focused elementary education in all academic areas. This includes reading, writing, science, math and social studies. We prepare students to be active participants in a lifelong journey of learning, both in the classroom and in the world. Through engaging and relevant curriculum that extends beyond the classroom walls, students will improve their understanding of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), as well as develop problem-solving and collaboration skills in indoor maker spaces and outdoor learning spaces. The STEM curriculum gives the students natural opportunities to stimulate investigations where they are identifying objects, making comparisons, making predictions, testing ideas, and sharing discoveries, all while observing the environment.
