Well really depends on your 3 and 7 year old - and what their lifestyle has been accustomed to. It will be an adventure for the 7 year old - 3 year old would have to be carried from parking to site as "No Groomed Trails" Depending on the time of year it can be cold or chilly. Need a blanket to wrap in. There are chairs to sit on - different sizes of telescopes to look through - I had to stand on a box to look through the biggest telescope - Dad could lift the little one. The guide also has hand held laser lights to point into the sky To be out in the dessert looking at stars is fun for children - my daughter always loved the star filled sky Plus the guide is exceptional I believe the children would always remember it.
My husband and I and 2 friends will be taking a tour of the crater on Sunday, October30. We would also enjoy seeing the astronomy of Israel with you that evening. Can you give me times and prices for this,? Also will it be very cold in October? Do you have that night available? Thanks, Cathie
