Mt Tabor has been a very fashionable address for almost as long as Portland has been a city. These apartments do justice to that statement in keeping with the 1924 elegance in which it was built. Art Deco lights along the roof create columns of light across the imposing, rich brick façade. The keyed entrance is exquisitely designed with tiled stairway, scrolled wrought iron banisters and pale golden walls. Original brass mailboxes are a bright feature at the entry, accented by the stained glass at the transom. Sweeping stairs on either side of the entry lead to several floors of apartments. Every apartment is unique, details just slightly different from each other.
