菲尼克斯，又译凤凰城，是美国亚利桑那州的首府和州内最大的城市，位于常年干涸的盐河两岸。菲尼克斯于1881年2月25日并入亚利桑那州，当时菲尼克斯在纳瓦霍语中被称为“Hoozdo”，意为炎热之地；在西阿帕契语中则被称为“Fiinigis”。当地人口超过160万，为美国第十大都会区，也是美国最大的州府。1990年至2000年间，菲尼克斯都会区面积增长34%，为全美城市增长速度第八名。根据2016年GaWC的世界级城市名册排名，菲尼克斯在全球都市区中位列Gamma级别。
