Would this be possible with a little one in a buggy / pushchair? We would have people to carry it down the odd bit not suitable for buggy, but if the whole thing is unsuitable it could be a problem! Thanks :)

I use a carrier (Tula toddler) all the time for hikes. So much better than a buggy for this.
how long is the walk and do you have to be really fit

There and back is 6 hours, but you can always do it one way (3 hours) and catch a taxi back to where you parked your car. And no, it's a fairly easy hike.
I'll be staying in albufeira next month and would love to do a short hike. We don't have a ton of time to spend an entire day but we could probably carve out a few hours one day. Is there any route or specific starting point that would be good for something like that? Any help would be appreciated!
