We operate the National Park Tours within the Shark Valley Entrance of Everglades National Park, which is the entrance closest to the city of Miami. On our educational tours, you will see the residents of the Everglades in their natural surroundings. Animals roam freely, and the environment is protected. The Shark Valley Tram Tour is the whole loop. It stops a lot on the curvy portion out to the Observtory Tower. You have 15 minutes there to do what you want. Then it's pretty much a straight drive back to the visitor center, with only a stop for an alligator that is very close to the road.
We reserved and paid for a tram tour, but I never got an email confirmation or anything. I do see that my Discover Card was charged. What do I show for proof of my reservation?

You can phone them and just verify that your names are on their list. When you arrive, just show your I.D. to match their tram list.
The Overview says “Visit Everglades National Park's Shark Valley to search for alligators, crocodiles, and other wildlife on a guided tram tour”. Are there crocodiles in the Everglades?

Yes - only place where alligators and crocodiles coexist. The visitor center and guides can explain the differences.

I was worried about that because we were going to be there late in the day on a Saturday, but the tram was only 1/2 to 2/3 full. They have it blocked off for online sales a week ahead so you think it is full, but it isn't really. They probably just don't want to oversell and have people be disappointed. I think the tickets were the same price if you buy them there as if you buy them online.
