The walking trails are pleasing anytime of year. Of course once the snow falls they can be slick. There are many evergreen trees and plants and the ponds are lovely. If you venture to the higher portions, the views are impressive year round.

Yes, I know weddings are held there but I don't know about the barn. A good location is by one of the ponds. You should contact the arboretum staf for event scheduling. Try to call 208-885-5978 & they will direct you to the person in charge of scheduling. You could also try to email : arboretum@ uidaho.edu
