Take your time and enjoy the museum. Stop at the animals for a bit Mornings seem to me to see creation moving about. Time depends on when you go. Some times there are activities that are closed at other times. Check ahead. Plan to stay the day. If you leave earlier, shouldn't be a problem.
We want to take our grandchildren tall enough to meet the 54". But we thought there would be guides on the actual zip course until I read some of these comments. Where are the guides?

For the Canopy Crossing and Soaring Cypress courses all participants must go through a "briefing" where a course guide teaches the rules of the course and how to work all of the equipment on the harness. Then everyone must show the guide they can complete the briefing area (two obstacles and a zipline) themselves to ensure they can complete the course. Rarely, some participants are not able to operate the equipment or slow down properly on the briefing zipline. If that is the case they will not be allowed to start the course - but they may receive a refund. After briefing, the course guides stay on the ground to answer any questions and coach participants through the course. Canopy Crossing gets up to about 20 feet at it's highest point, while our premier course, Soaring Cypress, gets to over 60 feet at a few points. If any participant needs help or needs to come down, a course guide will be up to perform an "assist" to get them down from the course in a matter of minutes. I hope I have answered your questions. Feel free to give myself (Drew) or Juan a call during ticket selling hours: Monday to Saturday 9-5, or on Sunday 11-5, if you have any other concerns.
