I wouldn't wait for Sunset in trakai. It's much nicer during the day where you can enjoy the castle as well as paddle boarding or a boat ride on the lake around the castle which is highly recommended. Anyway the sun doesn't set till very late during the summer there. Hope this helps

Hi when we went there were not long queues for tickets but that was earlier in the year. Have a wonderful time it's an amazing area
