Hello! Theirs not really alot of walking, though if you want to cover everything it does go quite far round. At the start theirs mice, foxes and others, abit further on is red squirrels, wildcats and badger weasel etc. Its only the deers and otters that are furthest way. Their are lots of benches dotted around. Theirs a nice cafe with seating and a great place to relax. I hope you do go because its a great little attraction. Look out for flo the beautiful fox.
Will the Centre keep a 7yr and 6yr old sufficiently occupied? I need them to let off some steam as well as enjoy the animal talks.. thanks

Hi yes there is plenty of space to let your kids let off some steam,it also has a play area as well.Plus it has plenty of animals to look at,hope that helps.

Yes, the surroundings are safe. The animals reside in large naturally landscaped enclosures and there are smooth, tarmac paths all the way round. The focus is very much on the animals at the Centre, with keeper talks held every half an hour so you'll be able to see the different species up close and hear all about them. We have a small wildlife-themed activity area and picnic area, called Pip's Corner, where he can let off a bit of steam!
