There are many many castles in Europe and this was one of the better ones. It has been preserved well with many good displays and appropriate narrations. The location is quite stunning on the lake.NicholasT342的完整评论

Hi we will be visiting the area soon and are staying in Wengen. Is there a train that connects Wengen to Oberhofen, or do you have to go to Interlaken and then take a bus? Just wondering the easiest way to get there. Thanks.

There is no train station at Oberhofen, you will have to change at Interlaken or Thun and then connect to the local bus.
Hi. Will be visiting Thun and Thun Castle early October. Question: how far is Oberhofen Castle from Thun/Thin train statation? Is it only via boat? Or there’s a another mode of public transport. And is it doable to visit these 2 castles half day? Thank you!
