Beautiful bluff walk to see crashing waves across the cove onto the white cliffs. Nice wide path. We saw lots of bikers there. scotttimkim的完整评论

In the park is the Old Cove Landing Trail. Roughly 2.5 mile loop. Probably 60% of this trail runs along the top of bluffs. One great view after another. Fairly easy trail with bonus seeing birds and… JBRetired的完整评论

parking is 10 dollars and it is important to arrive before 10am, preferably by 9 on weekends as the park is very popular and the parking is limited to one lot. People do ride horses on the trail but I am not sure of how to rent. You are not able to park overnight at the wilder ranch lot.
My husband and I read somewhere that you can rent horses to ride along the beach. I would like any information you might have on horseback riding.

Wilder State Park is day use only. There is a camp for equestrians which is part of Wilder located just a bit north on the Eastern side of the hiway. It is for horse campers only. You can get information on the State Park website. There is a very nice campground as part of Henry Cowell State Park which is between Scotts Valley and Santa Cruz. Only a few miles from the beach. Very good hiking trails and some mt biking trails.
