This historic site is an affiliate of the National Park Service, but it is managed by an independent non-profit organization. Because the museum does not receive federal or state funding for operations, it must charge admission fees from visitors to cover its costs.
How long should we allow for a visit? Is it possible to visit this site as well as Olana on the same day?

Hi, yes, you should allow about 90 minutes for the visit to the Thomas Cole site. You can easily visit Olana in the same day because they are only about two miles apart.
We are currently open for guided tours every weekend at 11 am–3 pm, with Private Guide tours available by advance appointment Wednesday through Friday.
