Unquestionably a must do experience. Researching the weather might be a good idea though because at over 43 degrees celsius it was toasty even first thing in the morning or just before sunset. Incred… V7533OBstephenc的完整评论

We did the sunrise tour which was fine but the real joy was walking around Uluru. The watering holes were stunning. Seeing the cave paintings up close was amazing. The appearance of the rock is … Jane P的完整评论

Do you have your buy a park pass for every day you travel from the resort to any of the tourist sites and, if so, can you buy a multi-day pass?

We are going in March 2025 & wonder if it’s best to hire a car whilst at the resort & is it not too expensive or should we hire in advance?

It depends what you want to do. There is a hop on hop off bus that runs from Yulara to the rock, but having a car gives you the freedom to visit the Olgas and check out sunrises / sunsets at leisure. Car hire at the airport is limited, and expensive, so I would book in advance. Check out the Ayers Rock Resort website for most things, remember you need to buy a park pass, whatever and ENJOY!
Hi we are going at the end of October. Think the daytime will be hot? We are dining at the fields of light one night, will we need warm clothes, anyone know please? Tia
答:
It will be pretty hot during the day in October, and also in the evening, Temperatures will drop once the sun goes down, but I suspect not enough for "warm" clothing.
My husband and I are travelling to Uluru in June. We have hired a car as we are travelling all around the NT for 6 weeks. Reading through the conditions and specifically the "Travel Restrictions" of the hire car agreement, it says you cannot drive outside any town or city limits between dusk and dawn in the NT. My interpretation of this condition is that we would NOT be able to drive our hire car to and from the sunrise and sunset viewing platforms at Uluru as driving pre sunrise and post sunset you will obviously be driving between dusk and dawn. Has anyone hired a car (from AVIS) and knows whether this travel restriction applies to the Uluru sunrise and sunset viewing platforms?

I can’t answer your question directly as we hired through Hertz and I don’t recall that being part of the agreement. They don’t recommend driving at night because of risk of hitting wildlife but clearly said to us you won’t have a problem driving Yulara to Uluru or down to Kata Jhuta for sunrises and sunsets and we didn’t see anything on the roads. Why not give Avis a call at Yulara airport to discuss?
