hi. there are a couple of places that we like. Depending on your budget, there is the Inn at the Presidio. it is right in the Presidio complex and within walking distance of the disney museum and a couple of restaurants. it is probably the quietest place in all of san fran. the other place is on Lombard almost within walking distance of disney but also on bus lines to everywhere, called the Cow Hollow Inn. reserve any of these far in advance. if you choose cow hollow, really try to get a room away from the street. there are some larger rooms in the back. cow hollow is one of the best mid range hotels in sf - we and a lot of friends have been staying here for decades.
