Yes you can switch drivers I believe as long as they have a license. I had my own snowmobile and have never drive one before and did fine if it helps. Even though it was extremely cold a 2 hour ride seemed good to me as I think 1 hour would be to short and you would not see as much.
What kind of equipment is included in your tours? Helmets, jackets, etc?

They give you a helmet. You can buy warmers. You can rent something if you forgot it. If you dress for cold, you should be fine. The grips are heated. I ended up turning them down.
