Crews worked to extinguish a fire at a home in Southeast D.C. on Sunday afternoon. In a post on X just before 1:55 p.m., the DC Fire and EMS Department (DCFD) said firefighters responded to a fire at a single-family home in the 4300 block of Texas Ave.

Firefighters in D.C. battled a large brush fire in Southeast on Sunday, March 9. The DC Fire and EMS Department said the fire was contained and no first responders were hurt in the fire.

DC Fire and EMS are working to extinguish a fire in Northeast Sunday evening. Officials were called to the 2300 block of G St before 8:30 p.m. When fire crews arrived they found smoke coming from the first floor of a 2-story row home.
