Hawaii's DLNR is clearing debris, including a dead puffer fish and a mattress, after a storm; efforts include rubbish traps and clearing boat groundings.

It’s not known which agency will clear the canal, but the state Department of Land and Natural Resources says it has contacted a contractor to clean the area at the Ala Wai Small Boat Harbor.
