ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - A Kentucky school district is mourning the death of one of its students. According to his obituary, Colton Fridh died Monday after a car accident. He was 16 years old.

Several Eastern Kentucky counties are under a flood advisory due to heavy rainfall Thursday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

Students are labeled chronically absent if they miss more than two days per month, or 18 days per school year.
