Anna Paquin is a Canadian-New Zealander actress. She won an Academy Award for her performance in 1993's The Piano when she was 11, making her the second youngest winner in Oscar history.

In the lead role, Paquin doesn’t quite nail the emotional outbursts with enough nuance but her scenes with Hogan and Winstone hold attention thanks to the way she portrays her underlying sadness.
