Sharing your location with a trusted contact in Find My Device works about how you would expect. Once you and your loved one enable the feature, you’ll be able to open Find My Device and it’ll show you where they are located. You’ll also be able to share your location with multiple contacts at once.

To begin sharing your location with someone new, tap the plus (+) icon above the People tab, set the duration, select the contacts, and tap Share. You can choose duration options such as 1 hour, today, until you turn this off, or you can set a custom duration.

Google’s update to the Find My Device app, which adds a “People” tab showing contacts who have shared their location with you (and vice versa), is now available for Android users. The company announced the feature at the beginning of the month with the March Pixel Drop,
