Lebanon Co. District Attorney said 2 residents that harassed a red fox near the intersection of state Route 501 and Locust Street have been charged.

The pair turned themselves in Jan. 24, and admitted to authorities that they had chased the fox with the intention of running over it, Salsgiver said.

It's not clear whether the other snowmobiler, who is 17, is charged. Juvenile records aren't open to the public.
