Microsoft rebranded Bing Chat as Microsoft Copilot in less than a year. The name better suits an AI assistant meant to ... model DALL-E and the free, open source Stable Diffusion models.

Also called the "New Bing," it can be used like a virtual assistant; however, it is also capable of generating original text. In late 2023, Bing Chat was renamed Copilot. See GPT and Copilot.
