It’s been a little while coming but the Nürburgring lap time for the Ford Mustang GTD has been made public: the highly specialised Mustang has lapped the Nordschleife in 6min 57.685sec.

Ford never released any information or footage of the GT500 on the Nürburgring that we were aware of – that is, until the guys at SVTPerformance.com put in a request for Mustang videos.
