Samsung has announced a new future-proof power management chip, as it works with the WPC on the Qi v.2.2 wireless charging standard.

Samsung may upgrade their future phones with a wireless charging chip that allows them to receive charging speeds of 50W.

Samsung has unveiled a new wireless charging chip for smartphones that includes Qi2 support and significantly faster 50W wireless charging speeds.

Other features include fast charging, dedicated wide-angle camera, fingerprint reader, memory card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
