This year, the Galaxy S24 Ultra hit 2,600 nits, before Google reached 3,000 with the Pixel 9 Pro. Apple, meanwhile, stuck with 2,000 nits for the iPhone 16 Pro. Now, despite an earlier rumor suggesting that Samsung wouldn’t be advancing on this with the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra, it appears the company may be matching Google after all.

One of the more noticeable changes from the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is the black edges around the rear camera lenses – an aesthetic choice apparently borrowed from the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6. We can also see that the edges of the Galaxy S25 Ultra are going to be more rounded than they are on the current model.

We can't seem to make it through a day without some Samsung Galaxy S25 rumor breaking and getting the internet all excited. The latest says the company plans to release the phone soon, which aligns with the typical S series launch cadence.
