There have been plenty of iconic gadget releases throughout the years, but none are quite as legendary as the Sony Walkman.

They were not but I found a pair with "MP3" printed on them ... coincidentally the same day I began playing with the vintage Sony Walkman CD Player. It also sounded terrible.
