Anthony Cirelli started a two-goal performance with the game-winner during a dominant second period, propelling the visiting Tampa Bay Lightning to a 6-2 win over the Boston Bruins on Saturday night.

Anthony Cirelli scored twice and the Tampa Bay Lightning held Boston without a shot in the second period in a 6-2 victory over the Bruins on Saturday night. Nick Paul, Victor Hedman and Darren Raddysh added goals to help Tampa Bay snap a three-game skid.

Boston was outshot, 20-0, in the second period and fell behind, 4-1, in falling to 30-30-8 on the season. The Bruins showed some signs of life in the third period, but Tampa Bay (38-23-5) were content to dump and chase and keep Boston’s skaters outside the circles after Marat Khusnutdinov scored 23 seconds into the third.
