2025年3月14日，欧洲空中客车防务与航天公司在社交媒体上宣布，已经向阿联酋空军交付了最后1架A330-200 MRTT（多功能空中加油运输机）。至此，阿联酋在2021年签署的2架A330-200 MRTT采购合同已经履行完毕，机队规模正式扩大到5架（此前已经拥有3架）。

值得关注的是，这架编号为MRTT-5的新型加油机从法国图卢兹总装基地启程后，将编入阿联酋现有空中支援集群。据官方资料显示，该机型融合了前沿空中加油科技，累计全球飞行时数突破30万小时，自2013年起持续为中东地区提供战略保障。
