With the NASCAR season starting this weekend, presidents of the two tracks in Virginia spoke to the media this week about plans for race weekends at Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. – Martinsville Speedway will host the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 on Saturday, September 27. The race is NASCAR’s biggest, richest and most prestigious Late Model Stock Car Race.

The short track will continue to be the setting for the finale of the Virginia Late Model Triple Crown, where one driver will be named champion under the lights of Martinsville Speedway.
