Parker the Snow Dog, a Bernese Mountain Dog who served as the official mascot of Loveland Ski Area and the honorary mayor of Georgetown, has passed away.

Parker, a Bernese Mountain dog, died in a car crash on Christmas Eve near Kremmling. His handler and friend, Dustin Schaefer, who does social media and public relations work for Loveland Ski Area, said he was also involved in the crash during an ice fishing trip.
