Driving under the influence of drugs and speeding were factors in the fiery Cybertruck crash that killed three college students in Piedmont last year, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Three suspects are in custody after a high-speed chase and an officer was involved in a shooting early Saturday morning in the Stockton area, the California Highway Patrol said.

Police told a TV news station that the driver, who family at the scene said was 21, produced a handgun after the chase ended.
