Springfield’s Council of Churches said it received more than 2,600 coats for children in its annual Coats for Kids Campaign.

the 2024 Coats for Kids drive. Sterling Kiwanis President Elroy Wylde said Coats for Kids provides $50 vouchers to local students in need, as identified by school nurses and administrators.

Hundreds of kids in the Century went shopping for free. All they had to do was pick out what they wanted. Several community outreach programs partnered with local businesses to hand out the coats.
