DJI, a Chinese-based technology company, got rid of its geofence software, which stopped people from flying drones over the White House, runways, power plants and during public emergencies.

DJI software previously stopped drone operators from flying into restricted areas or No-Fly Zones in the US by making the drone hover in place around a geofenced area, but will no longer do so.
