A very special car made an appearance during the Super Bowl halftime show performance on Sunday night, with Kendrick Lamar taking a victory lap for his rap battle with Canadian rapper Drake in a 1987 Buick GNX.

Kendrick Lamar is a car guy with a penchant for a specific car. Lamar’s latest album GNX is named after a rare 1987 Buick that he owns. If you’re not familiar with it, the GNX was a special version of the Buick Regal Grand National built through a collaboration with ASC/McLaren.

Retired racing legend Dale Earnhardt Jr. was thoroughly impressed by Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl halftime show, particularly due to the rapper's session featuring a 1987 Buick GNX.
