The Fudge Factory on Bradenton Beach reopened on Thanksgiving after back-to-back hurricanes. The shop's owner says after a few slow months, customers have returned to the island.

The project cost is $15 million, helped by a $5 million gift given by the Bill and Julia Van Domelen Foundation.
