Aladdin shows up on Jasmine's balcony, and it doesn't go great at first. He's trying to act all princely and pompous. There is a glimmer of hope when Jasmine thinks she recognizes this guy.

Aladdin: Well... (he struggles to stay balanced) is it working? (Jasmine pushes him with her index finger, knocking him into the fountain. He surfaces, coughing. She leans into him) Jasmine: It's working. (They kiss) (The scene moves to the balcony. Iago, Abu, and Sultan watch from above)

The scene of Aladdin and Selene is still visible behind her. Jasmine: Aladdin, how could you? In the Marketplace, a camel dips his head into the water to get a drink, and sees Jasmine’s image looking back at him.

This balcony scene is so romantic, I love how Aladdin listens to Jasmine and hears her dreams of wanting to see different places. He could have been like the rest and told her she should be grateful for what she has, but he saw that she felt trapped in her life and needed some change.
