As to Ms Pac, that's just a field conversion of pac. Swap row 5 with Ms Pac character roms, pull the CPU, add the Ms pac daughter card, moving the CPU to the daughter card. That's it.

I tried downloading MAME sets hoping it would have just the changed roms between versions but there's a lot different apparently if you wanted to change from JP to US. I use WinRAR and it has the file checksums right there to compare between.
