Some youtube shorts additionally don't delve into how to recover from accidentally breaking the pattern, so I've made a short 2 page guide on how to approach this.

2023年10月23日 · Keep repeating that pattern. Keep in mind this is how to clay farm on the beach, and if you reach a tile which cannot be hoed, hoe a random tile outside the area you’re farming to continue the pattern. Some tiles won’t give you clay, but as long as you do the pattern right, it will work. Video for reference:

There's a video that you can summon clay to a broken pattern, "9 is fine" they said meaning if you get clay on all first 9 spots, you've got a good pattern, if you have less than 9, stop and start over, otherwise it's going to get worse as you go.

Like, the pattern works for about 5 or 6 tiles, and then just stop working. 2024年4月3日 · 1.6 spoilers ahead! As of 1.6, RNG-manipulation based clay farming has been patched unless you turn on legacy clay farming on a save file. 1.6 adds a new item called treasure totem which can be used to summon a ring of artifact spots.
