2020年9月27日 · Jason: Boy, do I have good news for you!! I had the exact same issue with the exact same part # on my old radial arm saw this week. Busy Bee Tools has what you need. They sell 3 different bore size wheels. Smooth bore with a setscrew in from the side. Mine is 1/2" diameter, their part # 186NS12.

2016年12月3日 · I have a Craftsman radial arm saw model 113.19771 for which a have installed the recall kit. I'm not sure I ever had it aligned correctly, but since the original table top was quickly eroding from having been left in a damp basement by the previous owner, I found that a level table top was a huge improvement.

2013年6月1日 · In my shop, I mounted the saw at an angle,so longer boards, stick out the barn door. Crosscutting long boards is one of the things a ras does great. As long as the saw locks down solid, I wouldn't hesitate to move the saw for angled cuts. Just use a square to return it to 90 deg. Now if it doesn't lock solid, it isn't usable, and needs to be fixed.

I would like to add a small wood-turning lathe to my tool set and was wondering if and how the radial arm saw's motor could be used to power the lathe. 2009年11月7日 · I think I bought mine in the mid/late 80's as a closeout, because the saw moved along the arm better, and with less play than the newer model, and under inspection seemed to be a superior saw. I think I paid a little over $200 without a stand.

2023年8月31日 · I’ve had several radial arms over the years, my first was a C’man, the second was a 50’s era DeWalt/AMF, then a Ridgid, the latest a Rockwell turret. Of the 4 the turret saw is by far the best, followed by the DeWalt. I had a DW chop saw sharing the same fence as the RAS. Then I got sold on getting a sliding miter to replace them.

2023年10月8日 · There is enormous vibration as the saw doesn't run fast enough for the amount of cutters it has. The indexing pins may be stuck. Usually people leave a radial arm saw set in place so the pins may have been set there for 50 years. Be patient and keep soaking the pins with penetrating saw and gently pry on it daily until it comes loose.
