2020年5月21日 · A Western made "Demo" knife, and a bayonet for "my" M16A-1. When I was discharged for medical reasons in Basic, the Reserves wanted "my" M16A-1, the Bayonet, and "my" .45 ACP 1911 "Government" back. (daRn it) I did get to keep the Demo knife. I still have it. I don't recall anyone in my company/platoon that had a fixed blade other than the Bayonet.

2013年3月5日 · kabar bayonet Well, it's actually a Conetta as sold by Sarco back in the day, but that didn't stop me from carrying it quite happily through Desert Shield/Storm and right back for Part Deux OIF... The problem with the M6 bayo on the M14 is the distance from the mount ring to the latch is so short, only the length of the flash suppressor.

2021年10月21日 · wire cutters than just a bayonet in any future push into western europe... and by adopting this feature somebody at pentagon and later the entire free world justified the soviet concern of the dangers posed by wires. lol the m7 bayonet which was derived from the m3 trenchknife, is a far lighter and hence livelier sticking knife/bayonet.

2014年7月4日 · For an occasional camping trip either one will be fine, I'm a Marine from NY so I'm biased to the Ka-Bar, I had one for 15 years and beat the hell out of it, never disappointed, the steel on the one I had was extremely easy to sharpen.

2013年2月17日 · They failed badly. Still we did develop the M9 bayonet and the Marine Corps. has the OKC3S. The OKC3S does share a close resemblance to an 8 inch blade fighting/utility knife. 2016年3月1日 · Interesting, the Army experiments with a Ka-bar bladed M-7 bayonet back in 1977 and finds it unacceptable because it's not durable enough. Nine years pass (1986) and Phobis III designs and manufactures the new M-9 knife/bayonet that incorparates a Ka-bar style blade along with other features.

2015年4月2日 · For the M14 bayonet there is a tab of metal left on the tang when the blade blank is stamped to create a recoil stop. there isn't enough metal available on the KA-BAR tang to make this stop. So it would either be missing or something else would be done to allow for it.
